Wife Zakia Begum cut off her husband's penis while he was sleeping at Bhuapur. Husband's name is Feroze Mia (29). He is an excavator driver by profession.

The incident took place in Rautbari village of the upazila in the early hours of Wednesday . Feroz Rautbari village deceased Shahjahan Ali's son and wife Zakia Jigatla village Md. Jamil's daughter. They have a 5 year old son.

Since the incident, his wife Zakia is absconding. According to the doctor, there is a possibility of an accident if the amputated penis is not recovered and reattached.

Locals said that 12 years ago, Shahjahan Ali's son Feroz died in Rautbari village of the upazila. Jamil's daughter Zakia got married. Since marriage, there was a family quarrel between them. Village arbitration is held on this issue. Recently Gobindasi UP chairman.

In the presence of Dulal Hossain Chakder, their marriage was divorced by paying a fine of Tk 320,000. After agreeing to pay Tk 20,000 in the arbitration, Feroze took his wife back to his home after failing to pay Tk 3 lakh. Still, there is a quarrel between them.

On Tuesday night Feroze returned home after eating and fell asleep. Wife Zakia Begum cut off her husband's penis while he was sleeping early on Wednesday morning. She kept the matter a secret due to shame, but it was revealed in the morning due to excessive bleeding.

Later, the family members rescued him and first took him to Bhuyapur Upazila Health Complex, then the doctor on duty transferred him to Tangail Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital for better treatment. Later he was admitted there.

In this regard, OC of Bhuyapur police station Ahsan Ullah said, I was informed about the incident through the locals. No one has complained yet. Legal action will be taken if complaints are received.
