A motorcycle rider named Emon (16) died on the spot in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a cargo carrier in Charfashion. Meanwhile, the injured Nesharuddin (25) and Siam (20) were brought to Charfashion Hospital and the doctor on duty declared Nesharuddin dead.

The accident happened on Tuesday on the Bhola-Charfasson regional road at Kaimuddir Mor, Ward 1 of the municipality. Charfashion Fire Service Station in-charge Md. Asaduzzaman Likhan confirmed the matter.

The died bodies are Imon, son of Kalam of Neelkamal union of Charfashan upazila and Nesharuddin, son of Elias of Kaliganj village of Boromanika union of Borhanuddin upazila. The injured is the son of Anshar Ali of Ward No. 4, Osmanganj Union of Charfashion Upazila.

Charfashion Fire Service Station Incharge Md. Asaduzzaman Likhan said that Emon died on the spot in a head-on collision with a freighter coming from the other side while crossing a passenger bus on the regional road at Charfashion Municipality Ward No. 1 Kaimuddir junction on the way to Charfasson from Borhanuddin with three riding motorcycles. Meanwhile, the injured Siam and Nesharuddin were rescued from the scene with the help of th locals and taken to the Charfasson Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared Nesharuddin dead. The injured Siam was referred to Barisal Sher-E- Bangla Medical College for better treatment.

Md. Mizanur Rahman Howladar, OC of Charfasson police station, said that since there was no complaint, the dead bodies have been handed over to their respective families. One of the injured was referred to Barisal for better treatment.
