The budget of Tarabo Municipality of Rupganj Upazila of Narayanganj for the fiscal year 2024-25 has been announced.

In the budget, 173 crore 15 lakh 2 thousand 105 taka has been estimated as income from the budget announcement ceremony. The expenditure has been estimated at 164 crore 33 lakh 25 thousand taka.

On Sunday morning (July 7) Mayor Hasina Gazi announced this budget during the budget session organized at the municipal office.

Golam Dastgir Gazi Birpratik, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Textiles and Jute and Member of Parliament of Narayanganj-1 Constituency, Golam Dastgir Gazi Birpratik, Chairman of Rupganj Upazila Parishad, Habibur Rahman Habib, Upazila Executive Officer Ahsan Mahmud Russell, Upazila Parishad were present as the chief guest in the budget session. Vice Chairman Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Municipal Chief Executive Officer Nazrul Islam, Rupganj Upazila Awami League.

Feroz Bhuia, Rupganj Upazila Jubo League General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Shaheen, Municipal Councilor Amir Hossain Bhuia, Rafiqul Islam Monir, Mahabubur Rahman Zakaria, BM Atiqur Rahman Atiq, Jasim Uddin, Russell Shikder, Anwar Hossain, municipal officials and many others were present.

Mayor of Tarabo Municipality Hashina Gazi said that the development of Tarabo Municipality has been given priority in this year's budget. The financial year 2024-2025 will be the year of improvement in the fortunes of the citizens of Tarabo. The fiscal year 2024-2025 will be the year of development, Tarabo Municipality will be the role model of development at an unstoppable pace; Inshallah

The chief guest Golam Dastgir Gazi Birpratik, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Textiles and Jute Ministry and Member of Parliament of Narayanganj-1 Constituency said,

“The country has progressed under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At this time, he said that the amount of development that has taken place in the country during the tenure of the current government has not been so much during the tenure of any government in the past. He also said that Tarabo Municipality is going to become a role model for development.
