Teachers' protest march held in Phulbari

Teachers of private schools, colleges and madrasas held a protest march and rally at 2 pm on Monday. in Phulbari, Kurigram.
The rally was held in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka on October 12 to protest against attacks and torture on teachers during the rally of private teachers under MPO. At the rally, teachers demanded a notification for 20 percent house rent, 1500 taka medical allowance and all education
The organization expressed its determination to continue the strike announced by the center. A huge protest procession came out from the Kachari field of the upazila and circled the main roads of the upazila and reached the Upazila Parishad premises. The speakers included Baravita High School Principal, Upazila Liaison Committee Convener Sharif Uddin Mia, Fulbari Degree College Principal Aminul Islam Riju, Fulmati High School Principal Azizar Rahman, Fulbari Adarsh High School Principal, Upazila Liaison Committee Member Secretary Morshed Alam, Kuthibari Islamia Dakhil Madrasa Assistant Maulvi Sekender Ali, Bhangamor Dakhil Madrasa Super Ismail Hossain, Barolai High School Assistant Teacher Jamal Uddin Khandaker, Anantapur High School Assistant Teacher Jalal Uddin, Kuthibari Modern High School Assistant Maulvi Moin Uddin Selim, and Kashipur High School Senior Assistant Teacher Ramizul Haque.
The meeting was moderated by Arabur Rahman, a lecturer at Fulbari Degree College.
