State-of-the-art computer lab opens at DU Finance Depatt

A state-of-the-art computer lab was inaugurated in Dhaka University Finance Department on Saturday.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan inaugurated this lab as the chief guest.
This state-of-the-art computer lab is prepared in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the department.
Acting Dean of Dhaka University Business Studies Faculty and President of Finance Alumni Association Professor Dr. Mahmud Osman Imam presided over the ceremony, retired professor of the department. M. A. Baki Khalili, Association General Secretary Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan Roosevelt, Member Ali Hossain Pradhaniya and Akhtar Uddin Dulal spoke. Teachers and alumni of the department were present on the occasion.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan thanked the alumni for their cooperation in modernizing the computer lab. He said that the development of the university is not possible depending only on the revenue budget.
The cooperation of stakeholders is needed to move the university forward. He emphasized on strengthening and making the relationship of the university with the alumni more effective in the overall development including enhancing the skills of the students, education and research.
