Shahjalal Ideal International School and College, a renowned educational institution of Kulaura Upazila, organized the farewell ceremony of the school's vice-principal Md. Zahirul Islam and the prize distribution ceremony of the 2024 annual sports competition. Held on Monday Principal of Shahjalal Ideal International School and College, Senior Vice President of Kulaura Upazila Awami League AKM Shafi Ahmed Solman spoke as the chief guest in the program organized under the chairmanship of the new vice-principal Jhuma Rani Nath and the joint management of the institution's senior teachers Mojahidul Islam and Mahmudul Hasan Maruf.
Former councilor of Kulaura municipality Iqbal Ahmad Samim, president of Kulaura Upazila Press Club Md. Mosabbir Ali, teacher Tahmina Zaman, Ripi Begum, Mahfuz Chowdhury Asif, Nusrat Jahan and others spoke as special guests.
Among the students, Nurhan Islam, Mahdia Iqbal, Amena Shahed, Tahmina Islam Iqra, Mahzabin Mahbub spoke.
In his speech, the chief guest Principal AKM Shafi Ahmed Solman praised the outgoing vice-principal of the college, Md. Zahirul Islam, and said that the way he has worked in this institution for 7 long years will be exemplary.
His void will never be filled. He has been able to take the organization to a unique place by using his labor and talent in keeping with the times. I miss him and this institution

The chief guest said to the students, there is no substitute for merit. The more knowledge he acquires, the more he will be able to develop and establish himself.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Eva Rahman, a student of the school, recited from the Holy Quran, Snehashish Mallick recited the Gita.
