School teacher killed in Dimla road accident, police SI injured

A motorcycle rider named Zahinur Rahman (40) was killed in a road accident at Dimla in Nilphamari. Mr. Ali, a police SI working at Dinajpur Birganj police station, who was on the same motorcycle, was injured.
The accident took place on the east side of Dimla Islamia Degree College on Dimla Shutibari road on Monday (4) March at 9 am.
It is learnt that the deceased motorcycle rider is an assistant teacher of Zahinur Pachar Hat High School.
According to family and local sources It is known that Mr. Ali came home on leave from his workplace and was on his way to attend the Lalmonirhat court. The accident took place.
On seeing the incident, the local people took the injured people to Dimla Upazila Health Complex and the doctor on duty immediately sent them to Rangpur Medical College HospitalJahinur Rahman died while undergoing treatment there and SI Mr. Ali became seriously ill and is undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
In this regard, Dimla police station officer-in-charge Debashish Kumar Roy told The Country Today that the family members of the deceased will file a UD case at Dimla police station.
