3-day Agri Technology Fair inaugurated in Kamalganj

A 3-day agricultural technology fair funded by the Sylhet Region Agricultural Development Project, Khamarbari, Dhaka through modern technology has been inaugurated in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar.
On Tuesday (December 17) at 11 am, Kamalganj Upazila Agricultural Extension Department organized the agricultural technology fair by cutting the ribbon at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises and officially inaugurated it by Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Joynal Abedin.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Moulvibazar District Agricultural Extension Department Additional Deputy Director Farhad Mia, Kamalganj Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayanta Kumar Roy, officials and employees of various government departments working in the upazila, deputy assistant agricultural officers, leaders of various political, social, journalistic organizations and farmers.
A total of 16 stalls have been set up in the 3-day agricultural technology fair. These have been decorated with various domestic and foreign fruits, medicinal wood and amateur and national tree seedlings, fruits, flowers, vegetables and various agricultural materials. After the inaugural ceremony, the guests visited each stall of the fair.
During the conversation, Kamalganj Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayanta Kumar Roy said that the stalls set up at the fair will be open from 9 am to 5 pm every day during the fair. Certificates and prizes will be distributed among the owners of the best stalls during the closing ceremony of the fair on Thursday, December 19.
