Rajshahi Raksha Sangram Parishad (RRSP) a large social organization of the northern region, has held a human chain program for various demands including stopping the supply of dirty and smelly water in Rajshahi Wasa, guaranteeing safe and clean water, controlling commodity prices. The program was held at Saheb Bazar zero point of the city for an hour from 10 am on Saturday.

On due time Leaders of various professional organizations of Rajshahi participated in the program. It is said from the Human Chan program that the water supplied by Rajshahi Wasa to the city residents is extremely dangerous. From the same program, Nesco was warned that in the name of electricity service, Nesco is looting money without the knowledge of electricity consumers. From the human chain program, cancellation of NESCO prepaid meters, stop collection of physical bills, guarantee of uninterrupted electricity supply and stop harassment of customers, and stop NESCO irregularities and corruption were demanded. Speakers said customers will use the meter as they wish.
