Couple killed as bus hits autorickshaw in Dhamrai

A man and his wife were was killed and an autorickshaw driver was injured after a bus hit the vehicle in Dhamrai upazila on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Kazi Shahin, 48, and his wife Rubina Akter, 37.
The locals of the area said that a passenger bus collided with a battery-run autorickshaw on Saturday evening at Dhulivita on the Dhaka-Aricha highway, leaving Shahin, Rubina and the autorickshaw driver injured.
They were taken to Upazila Health Hospital where the couple were declared dead.
Dr Farsin Tarannum Haque said, "Three of the injured were brought to the hospital. Of them, one died before arrival."
