New law officers have been appointed in the District and Sessions Judge Courts and Subordinate Courts and Women and Children Abuse Prevention Tribunal of Chapainawabganj District.

The appointments of former public prosecutors and Government Pleader (GP) have been cancelled.

This information is known in the letter signed by Mahroof Hossain. The letter signed last Sunday was sent to the District Magistrate of Chapainawabganj.

According to the letter, the appointment orders of all the law officers previously appointed in the district and session judge court of Chapainawabganj district and the courts under it and in the women and child torture suppression tribunal have been canceled and they have been exempted from their duties until these lawyers are appointed again.

As mentioned in the letter, lawyer Md. has been appointed as Public Prosecutor (PP) of District and Sessions Judge Court. Abdul Odud. He joined the Bar Association in 1986.

In addition, Md. Rabiul Haque Dolan has been appointed as a public prosecutor (PP) in the Women and Child Torture Prevention Tribunal . He joined the Bar Association in 1988. He has been appointed as an assistant public prosecutor in the same tribunal. Ibrahim Hossain.

Seven lawyers have been appointed as Additional Public Prosecutors in District and Sessions Judge Courts. They are - Md. Yunus Mia Fitu, Md. Moyez Uddin, Hasan Jamil Bablu, Alhaj Md. Afzal Hossain, Md. Rezaul Karim, Yusuf Ali and Akramul Islam.

Nine lawyers have been appointed as assistant public prosecutors in the same court. They are - Molla Hasan Sharif, Md. Zahir Zaman Johnny, Md. Farhad Hossain Milan, Md. Moazzem Hossain, Md. Tohrul Islam Islam Pintu, Md. Shah Alam, Md. Masir Ali, Md. Masud Rana and Md. Abul Kalam Azad.

In addition, Md. Mosaddek Hossain has been appointed as a public prosecutor in the district judge's court. He joined the Bar Association in 1981.

Two lawyers have been appointed as additional public prosecutors in the same court. They are - Md. Khairul Islam and Aftab Uddin Mia.

Besides, four people have been appointed as assistant public prosecutors in this court. They are - Moses. Rahima Khatun, Md. Mahmudul Islam Kanak, Md. Masidul Islam and Nahid Ibn Mizan.

District and Sessions Judge newly appointed PP Md. Abdul Odud said, "PP is the representative of the state. I will do my duty conscientiously, aware of my position.”

As a criminal lawyer, he said, "PP's responsibility is not to prepare cases. Those who conduct criminal cases on behalf of the state in district judicial courts are called PPs.

I will refrain from doing anything that may prejudice all criminal cases.” He said that the litigants should not be harassed and that they will be diligent in resolving the case quickly with the combined efforts of the judiciary and the lawyers.
