Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed appointed Pro-VC, Academic at DU

Dhaka University Biochemistry and Microbiology Department Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed has been appointed as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University.
With the approval of the President and the Chancellor, this appointment has been given to him on Thursday, September 12, 2024, as per Article 13 (1) of the Dhaka University Order, 1973.
After getting the appointment today, 12 September 2024, Thursday afternoon, Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed joined Dhaka University as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic). Meanwhile, the university's vice-chancellor professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmad were present.
