Mourning is going on at the house of Imam Hussain Roni of Tongi, who died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.

Father Abdul Latif is crying profusely after losing his son. Her elder sister Hajera Khatun fainted again and again remembering the tragic death of her younger brother.

Ma Alimunnesa died in 2020. Hossain Ahmed Jasim, younger brother of the deceased, said that their village home is in Faridganj of Chandpur district. He was living with his family in Bara Deora area of Tongir.

Ronnie is the second of three brothers, one sister. Rony used to do tailors and grocery shop business in Deora area. Due to business losses, he migrated to Saudi Arabia in the hope of a change of fortune. Worked in a company in Saudi Arabia for eight years.

He came home on leave two months ago. He left the country for Saudi Arabia last Saturday (March 25) after a holiday.

He was supposed to join the workplace on April 1. As he had several days before joining the service, he was supposed to perform Umrah and pray for everyone. That hope was not fulfilled. The deceased's father, Abdul Latif, said, "We are making a demand to the relevant authorities of the Bangladesh government, so that arrangements are made to bring my son's body back to the country.

" For once, I can see my son's body and say my last goodbye. In this incident, Tongi West Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Alam went to the house of Imam Hossain who died in the road accident and spoke to his relatives.

He said that after the body arrives, all the work will be completed as per the government instructions.
