During the tenure of the fallen fascist government, Jamaat Shibir has become a popular political party in the country by ignoring all kinds of oppression and torture and playing an uncompromising role in the field, said Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Chattogram North District Majlish-e-Shura member and Sandwip Upazila Ameer Maulana Sirajul Islam Firoz.
He said these at the workers' rally organized by Magadhara Union at 3 pm on Friday.
Under the chairmanship of Mohammad Sayedul Islam , Union Secretary Mohammad Alauddin moderated the meeting, and special guests included Sandwip Upazila Information and Publicity Secretary Mohammad Shahed Khan, Upazila Office and Baitulmal Secretary Maulana Sabur Khan and former President of Magadhara Union Maulana Mohammad Abu Chapa.
Maulana Abul Hashim, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Maitbhanga Union in Bangladesh, presented Darsul Quran at the workers' rally.
