Housewife arrested with phensedyl in Goalando

Goalando Ghat police arrested a housewife with phensedyl in Goalando of Rajbari on Sunday at around 8 pm in the Dewan Para area of Ward No. 2, Goalando Municipality.
Wife of Obaidur Sardar Rahima Akhtar (29) was arrested with 70 bottles of Phencidyl from the kitchen of her living room.
Mohammad Rakibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Goalando Ghat police station, said that the anti-narcotics operation was carried out in the Dewan Para area based on secret information. A female drug dealer was arrested with phensedyl.
In this regard, a case has been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Act and sent to the learned court.
