Housewife's mysterious death in Muradnagar, family claims murder

A housewife named Fatema Akhtar Barshti (20) died mysteriously at Muradnagar Upazila in Cumilla on Saturday afternoon.
However, the family claimed that the people of the father-in-law's house continue to kill and call it suicide.
Bangra Bazar Thana Police recovered the body of a housewife from Raja Chapitla village of Chapitla Union under Bangra Bazar Police Station of Upazila.
According to police and local sources, Fatima Akhtar, daughter of Farid Mia of West Sonaullah village of Sadar Union of Upazila, got married to Khairul Islam Babu of Raja Chapitla village last month. After a few days of marriage, the people of Rain's father-in-law's house used to torture Rain in various ways, including beatings, for money and for petty matters.
The father of the victim, Farid Mia, complained and said that the people of the father-in-law's house are continuing to kill my daughter and commit suicide by twisting the veil and blocking the tree. But we and the police did not see the body hanging. Rain has injury marks on his body and neck. We are preparing a murder case in this regard.
In this regard, Bangra Bazar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamruzzaman said that Rain's body was recovered and sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital (KUMEC) morgue.
A case of wrongful death has also been registered in Bangra police station in this incident. Necessary action will be taken after receiving the post-mortem report.
