Historical Mujibnagar Day celebrated in Goalando

Historical Mujibnagar Day was celebrated on Wednesday. The programme was organized by Goalando Upazila administration of Rajbari district.
On the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room at 11 o'clock.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jyoti Vikas Chandra presided over the discussion meeting.
Goalando Ghat police station Officer- In-Charge Pranbandhu Chandra Biswas, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Farsim Tarannum Haque, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Khokon Uzzaman, Upazila Livestock Officer, Rasheduzzaman, Chairman of Uzanchar Union Parishad. Golzar Hossain Mridha, Daulatdia Union Parishad Chairman Abdur Rahman Mondal, fellow freedom fighters, representatives of Sudhisamaj, political leaders spoke on the occasion.
The speakers said, the importance of forming the Mujibnagar government is immense. History is always written in favor of the victor. If the Mujibnagar government was not formed, our history might have been different. So the Mujibnagar government is the main foundation of the Bengali freedom movement.
