Habiganj DC visits Shelter Project

Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Jahan has visited Madhabpur in Habiganj to commemorate the great liberation war, the Prime Minister's shelter project and vaccination activities.
On Saturday (August 7 ) at noon, he visited the Covid-19 vaccination program in Madhabpur upazila, the Asrayan project and the historical sites of the Great Liberation War at Teliapara.
During the visit, he visited Madhabpur Municipality, Pilot High School and Teliapara Tea Garden High School and instructed the concerned to ensure immunization in accordance with the hygiene rules.
He then toured the Teliapara installations commemorating the great liberation war and assured that steps would be taken to highlight its historical significance to the people.
He later visited the shelter project at Kalikapur in Baghashura Union. During this time he exchanged greetings with the locals and encouraged them to educate their children.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Mintu Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Moinul Islam Moin, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Mohiuddin, Assistant Commissioner Naveed Sarwar and Madhabpur Municipality Mayor Habibur Rahman Manik were also present.
