Police have arrested Md. Israfil ,20, the main accused in the rape case, after kidnapping a schoolgirl in Brahminpara upazila of Cumilla district without responding to love. Israfil is the son of Md. Swapan Miya of South Shashidal Union of Upazila. The accused was sent to jail through Cumilla court on Saturday morning.
According to the FIR, Md. Israfil Mia had been offering love to a class VII student of a local school in the same area for a long time. But if he did not respond to love, He continued to tease the schoolgirl in various ways. As a result, the school girl's father sought justice from Israfil's father in this regard.‎
‎But on the contrary, Israfil was angry with the school girl. On July 30, the school girl's father did not find her at her house and conducted a general diary at the police station this evening after searching various places.
In one case, his father came to know that the defendant, Md. Imrafil and his two associates Habibur Rahman and Al Mamun, forcibly picked up the schoolgirl from the road and kidnapped her in the Latifpur area under Kasimpur thana in Ghazipur district of Dhaka district. Later, according to reliable sources, the police station rescued the schoolgirl from the rented house of Saiful Islam in Latifpur area of Kashipur upazila on August 6.

The girl started crying when she saw the police and her father. Later, according to the girl, on July 30, Israfil and his two associates kidnapped her in private in the evening in front of Sen's Bazaar Imran Brick Field in the union and brought him to the rented house of Latifpur . That night, he was forcibly raped and threatened in various ways. The schoolgirls were then detained and raped by Israfil. Brahminpara police got information and rescued the Israfil and victim school girl from the house. At that time, He arrested Israfil for rape. The schoolgirl's father filed a case against Israfil and his two associates at Brahminpara police station on August 7.‎
