Discussion meeting on National Primary Education Week at Betagi

A discussion meeting was organized markingb the celebration of National Primary Education Week-2023 at Betagi in Barguna.
As part of a two-day programme in cooperation with the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Directorate of Primary Education and the initiative of the Upazila Primary Education Office, the Upazila Parishad Chairman Maksudur Rahman was the chief guest in the discussion meeting on Monday (March 13) at at 11 am in Betagi Upazila Parishad Auditorium with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Suhrid Salehin in the chair.
Upazila Primary Education Officer Mizanur Rahman Khan delivered the welcome speech.
Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Amirul Islam Pintu, Female Vice Chairman Mahmuda Khanam, Betagi Municipality Panel Mayor Kamal Hossain Paltu, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Shahidur Rahman, Hero Freedom Fighter Rezaul Karim Farooq, Upazila Fisheries Officer Pemana Saha were present as special guests.
Betagi Model Government Primary School head teacher Jasmine Akhtar spoke at this time, Betagi Citizen Forum President Lion Md Shamim Sikdar, Upazila Primary Teachers Association President Md Salim Howladar, General Secretary Abdul Mannan and Barisal Divisional Best Teacher Selina Akhter spoke on the occasion.
