Discussion meeting on historic 6-point day held in Shibganj

In commemoration of the historic 6-point day, a discussion meeting was held at the initiative of Shibganj Upazila Awami League of Bogura.
The discussion meeting was held in the Shibganj Municipality hall on Wednesday afternoon.
Shibganj Upazila Awami League President Mostafizar Rahman Mosta presided over the discussion meeting.
In the president's speech, he said, June 7 is a day of Bangabandhu's self-sacrifice. One of the most glorious chapters of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's political life is leading the 6-point movement.
Upazila Awami League General Secretary Mayor Touhidur Rahman Manik spoke at the meeting. He said that Bangabandhu's six-point program was not only a political program.
If it was not for the six-point movement, the independence of this country would not have come.
Through this 6-point movement, independent Bangladesh was born on the independent map of the world through the popular uprising of 1969, the huge victory of the Awami League in the 1970 elections and the victory in the great liberation war of 1971.
Upazila Awami League Vice President Md. Abdul Quader Bablu, Joint General Secretary Md. Imdadul Haque Imdad, Office Secretary Shahabuddin Shibli, Awami League Leader Mahfuzul Haque, Sohel Rana Mintu, Sirajul Islam, Shahinur Islam, Masud Mia, Omar Farooq Roni, Rajib, Abdul Majeed, Shipon, and Chhatra League leader Abu Raihan Rakib and others were present in the meeting.
