No one is looking for the family of Mangpru Marmar whose house was destroyed by falling trees in Ward No. 3 of Mangshaipru neighborhood of No. 1 Alikadam Sadar Union in the attack of Cyclone Remal last May 28. At that time, four members who were sleeping in the house were buried under the shield and rice as the roof of the house collapsed.
As they were asleep, they could not understand anything, but due to the loud noise, the neighbors hurriedly came out, cut the fence of the house and rescued them and moved them to a safe place.
On the request of the residents, Abdur Rahman, a member of the ward, bought 5 kg of rice, 500 grams of soybean oil and bought some retail market after the incident.
However, the UP Chairman or any party leader did not inquire about them, said the affected Mangpru Marma and the neighborhood residents. At present, as they do not have any specific source of income, they are living without food with the help of the neighbors.
