College student killed in in Sylhet

A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Sylhet’s Biyanibazar. The accident took place at Abdullahpur on the Sylhet-Bianibazar regional highway on Tuesday (July 19) afternoon.
The deceased Chhatra League activist Asaduzzaman is the son of Kuwaiti expatriate Shahab Uddin of Sheola Barabari of Sheola Union of Munna Upazila. He was a student of Biyanibazar Government College. He is about 22 years old.
A motorcycle collided with a reverse pickup in Abdullahpur section of Bairagibazar area of Sylhet-Bianibazar regional road. The motorcyclist was knocked down and seriously injured. Locals rescued him and took him to Biyanibazar Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty there declared him dead. When this news spread, BCL leaders and activists flocked to the hospital.
SI of Bianibazar Police Station. Saiful Islam said that the body condition report has been prepared. The pickup and motorcycle involved in the accident are in police custody. He said that efforts are on to arrest the absconding car driver.
