Distribution of ducks held among ethnic groups in Baraigram

A total two thousand piece of ducks were distributed among the members of the backward ethnic groups under the initiative of the Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital at Baraigram upazila, Natore. On this occasion, a function organized under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous at the Upazila Parishad square on Monday.
The Member of Parliament of Natore-4 (Guruspur-Baraigram) parliamentary constituency Dr.Siddiqur Rahman distributed ducks as the chief guest. The special guest was the District Livestock Officer Dr. Mostafizur Rahman. In addition, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Amir Hamza spoke at the function.
A total two thousand piece of ducks were distributed among one hundred members of the project under the Integrated Livestock Development Project aimed at improving the socio-economical and quality of life of the backward ethnic groups living in the plain lands.
