The 4th National Annual Quality Convention on Education (NAQCE) jointly organized by Daffodil International University (DIU) and Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM) was held at Daffodil International University campus at saver, Dkaka on Friday last.

From different Institutes of Bangladesh, 600 students attended the convention to compete the events of Students Quality Control, Poster and slogan, Quality Quiz and Panel discussion with a view to sharpen their analytical power and knowledge. Thirty eight Student Quality Control circles presented their case study before judges as well as audience in the convention. The students chalked out their problems and solved it themselves through group discussion and brainstorming by using some particular tools and techniques. Out of 38 SQC teams, The Tangail Residential School and college, ACED School, Matrix International School, Bonik Concept International School, Gazirchar A. M. High School and College, Sweden-Bangladesh Creative School, Angelica International School and Badshah Faisal Institute were triumphed Gold category.

In the convention Liza Sharmin, PhD, professor Department of English DIU, presented a keynote paper titled: Innovative Approaches to Sustainable Education while Professor Mohammad Rokibul Kabir, PhD director HRDI of DIU was chief guest. Engr. A.M.M Khairul Bashar, advisor of BSTQM, Prof. Dr. M R Kabir, President of Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM), Sheikh Nizam Uddin Ahmed, secretary general of Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM), Md. Nuruzzaman Talukdar, Chairman of education committee and convener of the convention and Tahsina Yasmin Co-Convener of the convention, Additional Director, HRDI of DIU were also present in the programme.
