BRAC Bank has set up a dedicated Front Desk at the One-Stop Service (OSS) Centre of the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) to provide exclusive banking services to economic zone investors.

BEZA Executive Chairman Shaikh Yusuf Harun and BRAC Bank Acting Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan formally inaugurated the service desk at the BEZA head office in Dhaka on 7 March, read a press release.

The bank has also entered into a payment gateway agreement with the BEZA, enabling inventors to pay lease fees, get government permission, get NOC, etc.

Under customised payment gateway solutions, the investors will benefit from seamless digital transactions through VISA and MasterCard with faster processing time using BRAC Bank’s state-of-the-art Online Merchant Service Portal.
AKM Faisal Halim, Head of Transaction Banking; Khairuddin Ahmed, Head of Merchant Acquiring; Arif Chowdhury, Unit Head, Transaction Banking, BRAC Bank, and senior officials were present.

The BEZA OSS Centre is a single window that provides investors with comprehensive business information and licensing services, reducing the cost of doing business and lead time.

It facilitates obtaining all required regulatory permissions, licenses, approvals, and No Objection Certificates (NOC) under one roof.

With this front desk at the OSS Centre, BRAC Bank will deploy a dedicated team to cater to the advisory and banking services required by investors.
