Bangladesh Hosiery Association, an organization of hosiery traders of Narayanganj, is freed after 16 years.

The Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Hosiery Association was held in a festive atmosphere. The annual general meeting of the city's Hridam Plaza Community Center was held on Thursday morning.

The former president of the association Alhaj Md Badiuzzaman (Badu) was present as the chief guest in the meeting.

The hosiery traders of Narayanganj, the famous Dundee of the East said, we do not understand any party politics. It is the organization of our soul. This organization will work to solve various problems and crises existing in the hosiery industry. Most of us are small entrepreneurs. We suffered a lot during the student movement. Many have run out of capital. We have to arrange micro loans for the affected traders.

At this time, former president Alhaj Md. Badiuzzaman Badu said to the businessmen that we will never allow godfathers to be created in the industrial city of Narayanganj. It is better not to raise any political banner in the businessmen's organization. I am constantly thinking about various problems in the hosiery industry. I will try for the affected traders. I will try to put a smile on everyone's face. I wish everyone's sincere support for this.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the meeting, acting president of Bangladesh Hosiery Association. Saeed Ahmed Swapan read the written statement. Later, with the consent of all the hosiery traders, the auditor of the association for the year 2024-2025 was appointed to Mustafa Kamal & Co. Later, by discussing the decisions taken in the Annual General Meeting 2022 and 2023, hosiery traders were unanimously approved.
