Army Zone Commander Shawkatul Monayem seeks cooperation to develop tourism in Alikadam

In order to continue the development trend of Chittagong Hill Tracts, a series of financial grants have been completed by Sena Zone (31 Bir) at Alikadam in Bandarban.
The donation was given in the hall room adjacent to the canteen of Alikadam Army Zone on Monday morning.
Alikadam Army Zone Commander Shawkatul Monayem PSC was present as the chief guest.This donation is given every month for the food bills, immediate grants and medical assistance of the students in various schools, colleges, madrasas, orphanages, poor and distressed families, tribal Muslim welfare organizations and Alikadam Murang Complex in Alikadam and Lama upazilas.
This time a total of 2.69,886.00 (Two Lakh Ninety Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Six Only) financial grants were provided.
At this time, the chief guest said that Alikadam Upazila is a tourist area, if tourism related and local residents can ensure all kinds of facilities for the tourists coming here, more tourists will come here. This will facilitate the progress of business in the area.
He also said that financial assistance and development work is ongoing and will continue in the future on behalf of Alikadam Army Zone among the needy. Along with this, in all the camps under the Alikadam zone, financial assistance and development work will continue among the needy and medical campaign for the treatment of the needy through free treatment and medicine distribution.
