An advocacy meeting was held with the Disaster Management Committee in Rajarhat, Kurigram under the Lighthouse Project on Monday at 10 am. The meeting was presided over by Rajarhat UNO Al Imran.
The meeting was addressed by Rajarhat Police Station OC Nazmul Alam
Rajarhat Press Club General Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad, Rajarhat Upazila Press Club President Anisur Rahman Liton, Rajarhat Fire Service Station Officer Abu Taher and many others. The event was hosted by Project Implementation Officer Mr. Asaduzzaman.
During this time, speakers discussed various measures to prevent disaster risk management and to prevent the mental health of women, children, and the disabled during disasters. They also called on everyone to work together to prevent disaster.
