Workshop held in Kalapara on formation of emergency health responder group, enhancing performance of its members

A workshop was held in Kalapara, Patuakhali on formation of Emergency Health Responder Group, its duties and enhancing the performance of its members  at 10 am on Saturday in the hall of the office of the IPZilla Health and Family Planning Officer under the Climate Change and BRAC Health Project.
 
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Shankar Prasad Adhikari presided over the workshop, and 18 participants including resource persons, local dignitaries, Red Crescent members, health inspectors, health workers were present.
 
Health Inspector Mst. Afroza Begum, BRAC Health Project Climate Change and Health Officer Md. Azizul Islam, Area Manager Md. Bashiruzzaman, Health Worker Manjila Akhtar etc were present in the workshop.
 
At this time, the speakers highlighted the need to take awareness activities to prevent dengue, chikungunya, corona and to send the affected patients to the hospital for quick examination and take necessary measures as per the doctor's advice.
 
Under the Climate Change and BRAC Health Project, the workshop will be organized with resource persons of two municipalities and 12 unions of the upazila, local dignitaries, Red Crescent members, health inspectors and health workers, officials of the BRAC Health Project said.
