Week-long cleanliness drive begins at RU

Rajshahi University has launched a week-long campus cleanliness drive under the slogan "Clean Campus, Save Campus."
Vice-Chancellor Prof Saleh Hasan Nakib inaugurated the campaign at the Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Administrative Building.
Emphasizing continuous efforts to maintain cleanliness, he urged students to use designated dustbins and protest against littering. Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Mohammad Main Uddin warned of actions against waste around campus shops, while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Moha. Farid Uddin Khan stressed that cleanliness is a shared responsibility.
Faculty, students, and staff participated in cleaning key areas, including the library, academic buildings, and residential halls. Several voluntary organizations are also supporting the initiative, which will continue throughout the week.
