Two arrested with fake notes in Rangamati

Police arrested two people with 14 fake notes in Rangamati. They were arrested from Mahilla Bazar area under Baghaichhari police station.
The arrested are Md. Masud Mia (39) and Md. Delwar Hossain (31). Both are residents of Kalapakya Union No. 02 of Longadu Upazila of Rangamati.
During this time, 14 fake notes of the equivalent value of 1000/-(one thousand) taka were recovered from them.
Under the overall guidance of Rangamati Hill District Superintendent of Police Dr. S. M. Farhad Hossain, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Baghaichhari Circle) Mahmudul Hasan and Baghaichhari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Humayun Kabir, a team led by SI (Unarmed) Tiklu Kumar Pal, SI (Unarmed) Sagar Halder, and ASI (Retd) Nazmul Huda conducted a special operation of Baghaichhari Police Station and arrested the accused from Mahilla Bazar area under Baghaichhari Police Station.
Later, a regular case was registered at Baghaichhari Police Station in this regard, the accused were arrested and handed over to the learned court through due process.
