Annual sports competition, cultural program held in Sarishabari

The annual sports competition, prize distribution and cultural program were held in Sarishabari, Jamalpur. The program was organized by the traditional Boyra Israel Ahmed High School of Pogaldigha Union of the upazila on Thursday morning at the school ground.
Under the chairmanship of the school president Chan Mia Chanu and moderated by the head teacher Sheikh Mahmud, Pogaldigha Union BNP President Mamun Or Rashid Fakir spoke as the chief guest.
Special guests included Pogaldigha Union BNP General Secretary Rashedul Islam Ranju, Upazila Krishak Dal Convener Abdul Majid, Upazila Jubo Dal member Anwar Islam Babul, School Management Committee member Nazrul Islam Swapan, Union Jubo Dal President Sakibul Hasan Sumon, General Secretary Zahid Hasan Farhad, Sechchhasebak Dal President Liton Talukder, General Secretary Zahidul Islam Sohag, Assistant Headmaster Zahurul Islam Tara, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations and local dignitaries.
A parade was held with the participation of students. Later in the afternoon, a pleasant cultural program was held.
