Tomatoes are being wasted in most of the land in Goalando upazila of Rajbari. Farmers are not selling it if there are gorgeous red tomatoes in the field. Red ripe tomatoes are eating different species of birds, including saliva. Tomatoes hanging on the tree.

Ripe tomatoes have been found to be wasted on the wide land. Some land tomatoes are disappointed with farmers. Artists are also forbidden to send more tomatoes. As a result, many tomatoes are being wasted on the ground.

Tomato farmer Aaron Sheikh said, "I have cultivated tomatoes on 5 bighas of land." It cost more than Tk 1 lakh. I am selling only 3 thousand rupees. Tomatoes are not being sold right now. The price is falling day by day.

Farmer Kobad Ali said, I was cultivating tomatoes on that bigha land. It cost about two and a half lakhs. So far I have sold one and a half bucks. I hear that tomatoes are being sold for four to five bucks a kg. The cost of picking the tomatoes will not be available.

He also said that these tomatoes are also of the Deepali varieties, Bahubali varieties. The yield of all tomatoes is good. What if good is not worth it. All these varieties of tomatoes cost a lot more.

Farmer Mubarak Sardar said the tomatoes are not priced. All the money is finished by cultivating tomatoes. Now there is no money that I will cultivate in another land. Many of my land is empty. There is no money that I will cultivate with labor.

Goalando Upazila Agriculture Officer said. Khokon Uzzaman said that tomatoes were cultivated on 5 hectares of land in the upazila in the fiscal year 2021-27. Tomato bumper yields because the weather is good. And the supply has increased due to bumper yield. Due to which the price has dropped.
