Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad , former Minister of Religion and 5 times elected Member of Parliament is coming back to the country today ( December 28 -Saturday) after 13 years.
All kinds of preparations have been completed for his arrival by BNP leaders and activists.This former minister was forced to leave the country after being jealous of his popularity among the people of the area, after being implicated in a false case by the members of the then ruling clique.
Kaikobad's family members confirmed his return to the country only after BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and all the accused were acquitted in the August 21st grenade attack case.Comilla North District and Muradnagar Upazila BNP held meetings in each ward and union of the upazila for a month on the occasion of the arrival of this former minister.Every place in the upazila is covered with poster banners of Kaikobad.
For the first time after the country's political change on August 5, a festive atmosphere prevails among people from all walks of life in Muradnagar.Upazila BNP leaders are saying that our leader is coming to the country after a long time.
