Special cleanliness drive in Kumarkhali town initiated by KKGK

A group of workers of "Clean Kumarkhali Green Kumarkhali" (KKGK) has conducted a cleanliness drive in the Kumarkhali municipality area of Kushtia.
The drive was inaugurated in front of the Hall Bazar Town Club on Thursday afternoon by the joint convener of Kushtia District BNP and former mayor of Kumarkhali Municipality Nurul Islam Ansar Pramanik and was supported by the convener of Kumarkhali Thana Jubo Dal, Zakaria Ansar Milon.
Among others, Kushtia District BNP convener Qutub Uddin Ahmed, District BNP member secretary Engineer Zakir Hossain Sarkar, along with municipality officials and employees and Upazila BNP leaders were present at the time.
After the inauguration, the organization conducted this special cleanliness drive in the area from Hall Bazar to Ganomore in Kumarkhali town.
In a brief speech, former mayor Ansar Pramanik sought the help of the city's residents and said, "Remember one thing, if you cannot make the people aware by spending thousands of crores of taka on waterlogging, cleanliness and mosquito control, then you will not be able to keep this city beautiful. For this, your help is needed. This city belongs to all of us, to you and to me. Throw away the garbage in the right place. Let's all keep it clean together."
