Science Fair held at Gafargaon Govt College

A day-long science fair-2025 was held at Gafargaon Government College in Mymensingh with the participation of students with the aim of developing a science-minded generation.
Gafargaon Government College hosted the day-long fair held on the college campus yesterday, Tuesday. The fair was inaugurated by the chief guest, Professor Kazi Faruk Ahmed, Principal of Gafargaon Government College.
At this time, the convener of the science fair organizing committee, Associate Professor of the Department of Physics of the college, Dr. Shihab Uddin, along with teachers, students and media personnel were present.
Later, the college principal and teachers and guests visited the science projects at the 6 stalls of the fair set up by the students based on their own science ideas. At this time, the science-minded students talked to the chief guest and other guests about their discoveries and answered various questions.
The chief guest at the fair, Professor Kazi Farooq Ahmed, Principal of Gafargaon Government College, said, "We need to maintain the continuity of innovation and efforts of our students. We need to think innovatively not only about textbooks but also about various topics outside the books. You are the little scientists of today but also the potential of tomorrow. You will lead the technology-based world of tomorrow."
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners.
