Rangpur Jamaat’s rally protesting rising commodity prices, protect sanctity of Ramadan

Protest marches and rally were held in Rangpur city on Friday, to protest rising commodity prices, protect the sanctity of Ramadan and demand immediate release of oppressed people's leader ATM Azharul Islam.
As part of the program announced by the center, a huge protest march was taken out from in front of the local Sadar Hospital Mosque after Jumma organized by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan Branch. The protest march passed through Rangpur City Corporation, City Bazar, Super Market, Payra Chattar, Jahaj Company Intersection, Press Club, Grand Hotel Intersection, and circled the main roads of the city before ending with a rally at Shapla Chattar. Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Rangpur Metropolitan Ameer Vice Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan addressed the rally.
Jamaat leaders and activists, including people from different walks of life, demonstrated in the rally and protest procession to protest against the rising prices of commodities, protect the sanctity of Ramadan, and demand the release of the oppressed people's leader ATM Azharul Islam.
