Press conference on Young Tigers Under-14 National Cricket Tournament held in Khulna

A press conference on Young Tigers Under-14 National Cricket Tournament -2024 -25 was held at Khulna Circuit House Conference on Thursday.
Divisional Commissioner Md. Firoz Sarkar presented the details of the tournament to the media.
It was informed that the Young Tigers Under-14 National Cricket Tournament is going to be held in Khulna, including the final and semifinal matches of 2024-25.
A total of 5 teams in the competition will be divided into two groups. Only B-group games will be held in Cox's Bazar at the group level. The group level matches will be two days and the semifinal and final matches will be three days. The Bangladesh Sports Education Institution team and the Barisal Divisional team will face each other in the opening game at Khulna Divisional Stadium on February 5 to 7.
It is also informed that many emerging players playing in the national team will be expected to come out through the under-14 tournament.
Successful events of this tournament can be expected to open the door to organizing more tournaments in Khulna.
The games will be held at Khulna Divisional Stadium and District Stadium. The final game will be held on March, 2025.
