Millions of voices swear in July revival in Jaldhaka

With the slogan "Millions of voices swear in July revival for social reconstruction", a colorful and orderly rally was held at the Jaldhaka Upazila Parishad Hallroom in Nilphamari on Saturday morning.
The program, organized with the aim of strengthening awareness, equality, women's rights and social values in the society, was organized by the Upazila Administration, Upazila Social Service Office and Upazila Women's Affairs Officer's Office, Jaldhaka.
The rally was presided over by Upazila UNO Zaid Imrul Mozakkin and was attended by officials from various departments of the upazila, public representatives, teachers, journalists and well-wishers. The rally began with the performance of the national anthem at the beginning of the program. Then, the oath for social change was recited simultaneously by the voices of millions of people, through which a pledge was expressed to stand against all social ills including corruption, drugs, women's oppression, violence, and child marriage.
The oath was administered by the Upazila Executive Officer, who said in his speech, "To bring about social change, each of us must be aware and responsible from our own position. Our main goal is to ensure that today's oath is reflected in real life."
The speakers at the event laid special emphasis on women's participation in revival, social coexistence, and development. The gathering became lively through performances, discussions, and open opinions with the participation of the interested people present. At the end of the event, an awareness video was shown and the public present was called upon to actively participate in social reform.
The organizers expressed their hope that such a gathering would play an effective role in awakening morality, compassion, and a sense of responsibility in the society.
