Masud Rana, Pirgachha (Rangpur)

The annual sports festival of Pirgachha Millennium Child School in Rangpur was celebrated with great With enthusiasm and excitement recently.

In the week-long event, 70 different sports competitions were held between students, teachers and guardians of all levels of the school from 20 to 23 February, and on the closing day on 24 February, awards were given to the winners and a pleasant cultural program was performed. On the closing day, a science fair, various pies and a publication festival were organized on a short scale from morning to 3 pm on the initiative of the guardians and students of the school.

The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by the Director of Millennium Child School, Mojahidul Islam, and under the overall management of Headmaster Abu Naeem, as invited guests, Principal of Pirgachha Government College, Prof S. M Ashadul Islam, Head of Philosophy Department of Pirgachha Government College Mr. Mottalib Hossain, Teacher of Management Department Mahmudul Hasan, Arabic Lecturer of Pavitrajhar Fazil Madrasha Maulana Ruhul Islam, Teacher of Psychology Department of Pirgachha College Habibur Rahman Ujjal and Retired Teacher of Mekura Islamia Fazil Madrasha Abu Saleh Mohammad Nuruzzaman and many others were present.

The program was moderated by the Co-ordinator of the organization Abdullah Al Masud and awards were given to more than two hundred winners of various categories, students and their guardians. In addition, courtesy awards were given to all students.

The invited guest at the program, Principal of Pirgachha Government College, Professor S. M Ashadul Islam, told the students that keeping the principles and ethics intact, young students should play a leading role in building a possible Bangladesh of the future.
