A Z Al Muzahid (Kishoreganj)

The election of Kishoreganj District Committee for the 2025 session of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has been completed.

Hasan Al Mamun was elected as the President and Fakir Mahbubul Alam as the Secretary by direct vote of the district members of Islami Chhatra Shibir.

The committee was formed at Kishoreganj District Office of Islami Chhatra Shibir on Thursday evening.

The newly- elected President of Kishoreganj District Islami Chhatra Shibir, Hasan Al Mamun, was the President of the District South Branch in the last session. This time, he was elected as the President by direct vote of the members. He is a son of Masuya village in Katiadi Upazila of the district. He is studying LLB at a private university.

On the other hand, the newly elected Secretary Fakir Mahbubul Alam served as the Secretary of the District South Branch in the last session. He is studying Kamil (Masters) at Mangalbaria Kamil Madrasa in Pakundia upazila of the district. His home is in Mathkhola village of Pakundia upazila of the district.

Central Executive Council member Hafez Abu Hanif, Central Executive Council member and Dhaka Metropolitan North President Anisur Rahman, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Kishoreganj City Branch Maulana AMM Abdul Haque, Assistant Secretary of District Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana AKM Abu Yusuf, Professor Azizul Haque Kajal, Secretary of District Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Nazmul Islam were present at the program conducted by Abdus Salam, Central Industry and Commerce Secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir.

Hasan Al Mamun, the newly elected President of Kishoreganj District Islami Chhatra Shibir, said, Alhamdulillah, Allah Almighty has selected us for this responsibility, may we be able to fulfill it properly. We ask for prayers from everyone. New committees of various organizational units including upazilas, municipalities, colleges within the district will be formed soon. After that, the full committee of Kishoreganj District Islami Chhatra Shibir will be formed within a week, InshaAllah.

It is to be noted that in the 2012 session, Kishoreganj district was divided into North and South branches to expedite the organizational activities. This time, again, the central decision will be made to unite the North and South branches from the 2025 session.
