International Women's Day : Discussion held, sewing machines distributed in Feni

International Women's Day discussion meeting and distribution of sewing machines were held in Feni on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam was the chief guest at the function organized in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.
Nasrin Akhter, Deputy Director of Women Affairs Directorate, Feni, gave the welcome speech.
Feni Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ismail Hossain presided over the discussion meeting as special guests were Deputy Director of Local Government Department Feni Golam Mohammad Baten, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Saifur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Fahmida Haque, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Miss Fatema Sultana, Additional District Magistrate Manjurul Ahsan and Feni Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sultana Nasreen Kanta. Sabuj Bangla Executive Director Edab Feni District Branch Member Secretary Zainal Abedin Russell and Mithali Women Development Association President Lutfun Nahar spoke at the discussion held under the supervision of Md. Abdur Rob, Field Coordinator of Women's Organization.
Representatives of various women's organizations, trained women and women entrepreneurs of the Women's Department were present on the occasion. At the end of the discussion, the guests distributed sewing machines among 10 women who were trained by the Directorate of Women's Affairs, Feni. The discussion meeting has been organized by the joint initiative of the district administration, women's affairs department and national women's organization.
