Human chain protesting irregularity of Water Development Board in Shyamnagar

A human chain against the water development board was organized on Wednesday at Shamnagar upazila of Satkhira.
Speakers in the human chain, including UP chairman, UP members, locals, and others, stood in the area of Durgabati and Datinakhali. Due to irregularities, corruption and delays by JICA, the dam has become more vulnerable to the dam. Before the monsoon season came in front, he demanded the dam reform of the concerned authorities.
UP member Ghazi Abid Hassan, Bikash Mondal, NGO activist Hafizur Rahman, Fazlu Rahman, local resident Shefali Begum, spoke on the occasion chaired by Burigawalini UP Chairman Haji Nazrul Islam and Panel Chairman Abdur Rauf were present.
