Hindu society most harmed by AL : Dulu
Natore Correspondent
BNP central leader and former minister Advocate M. Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said that the past fascist Awami League government has always considered the Hindu community of the country as their vote bank. Yet, it is by them that the Hindu society has been most harmed. In this country, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians all live together in harmony.
He made this comments while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the 32-hour-long Mahanam Yajna and Ashtakalin Leelakirtan at Bhushongacha in Naldanga upazila on Saturday.
Dulu said, “Since 2001, I have not been allowed to participate in the National Parliamentary elections. Yet, all the development in Natore was carried out through my efforts. The MPs and ministers of the fascist Awami government have looted the funds allocated for the people and built houses, cars, and mountains of wealth for themselves. They have set Bangladesh back.”
The event was presided over by Bachchu Kumar Pramanik, President of Bhushongacha Sri Sri Sarbajanin Kalimata Temple. Other speakers included: Natore District BNP convener Rahim Newaz, joint conveners Mostafizur Rahman Shahin and Saiful Islam Aftab, district BNP members Sakhawat Hossain and Nasim Uddin Nasim, former organizing secretary of Naldanga Upazila BNP Shariful Islam Bulbul, district Jubo Dal president A. Hai Talukder Dalim, district Jatiotabadi Olama Dal general secretary Hafez Shafiqul Islam, and temple committee general secretary Satyen Kumar Das.
