Coast Guard provides free medical services, distributes medicines in Bhedarganj

Bangladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and medicines in Bhedarganj, Shariatpur.
Lieutenant Commander Md. Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Friday morning.
Since its establishment, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the underprivileged people of the coastal/char areas. The Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the distressed and low-income people through medical campaigns at different times.
In continuation of this, on January 9, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm, a medical campaign was conducted by BCG Station Pagla under Dhaka Zone of Bangladesh Coast Guard in Bhedarganj area under Sakhipur Police Station of Shariatpur and a total of 670 helpless, poor, distressed and children were provided free medical services and necessary medicines.
The medical campaign was led by Surgeon Lt. Commander Ahmed Rifat Tahmid, AMC and Surgeon Lt. Jannatul Ferdous, AMC.
