BWDB officials visit erosion site of Chandaria Canal in Boalkhali

Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) officials have visited erosion site of Chandaria Canal in Boalkhali on Friday.
The Sub-divisional Engineer of BWDB Md. Shaheen Badsha, Deputy Assistant Engineer Bimal Das, Deputy Assistant Engineer Shoy mong Singh, visited the erosion site near house of folk artist Binoybanshi Jaldas.
Deputy Divisional Engineer Md Shahin Badsha said that permanent protective work will begin to prevent erosion in the erupted area within the next one week. CC blocks and geobag dumping and placeing will be blocked at a length of two and a half meters in length.
Boalkhali Upazila BNP Member Secretary Hamidul Haque Mannan, former general secretary of the municipality Jubo Dal Golam Hossain Nannu and local residents were present.
