Bangladesh Nationalist Party Vice President Dr. Asaduzzaman Ripon said, an attempt is being made to disrupt the elections. A while ago, an attack took place on the Air Force base in Cox's Bazar. Is this a normal occurrence ?

There is a government in the country now. A conspiracy is being made to sabotage democracy in Bangladesh so that elections are not held on time.

He also said, in Pakistan, we occasionally see that the army and air force bases there are attacked from behind. Firecrackers, bombs, and grenades are exploded. We know such incidents in Pakistan. But why are those signs in Bangladesh?

The reason is that so that elections are not held quickly in Bangladesh. A conspiracy is being made to disrupt the elections. But we want to stop that conspiracy.

He said these while speaking as the chief guest at the rally of the centrally declared district BNP held at the Mukta Mancha in the city's Municipal Park on Sunday at 10:45 am demanding the announcement of a road map for the national elections.

Dr. Asaduzzaman Ripon asked the people, if we can oust a fascist government through a movement, then why can't we foil the conspiracy? As a result of the movement for 16 years, the fascists fled the country on August 5.

Regarding the deterioration of law and order in the country, he said, it is already impossible, the Home Adviser held a press conference at 3 am. The law and order situation has deteriorated due to the absence of an elected government in the country.

An adviser said, all DCs who voted at night are being removed from their jobs. Policemen will also be arrested. How long has it taken? Don't you know which SPs and OCs made MPs in the night vote in the 2018 elections, don't you know which ones filled the ballot boxes? Why have the SPs of 2014 and 2018 been kept where they are till now? They should be removed from their jobs at this moment. Democracy cannot be established by keeping the ghost of tyranny in the government. Gopalganj District BNP Convener Sharif Rafiquzzaman presided over the rally. The special guests at the rally were BNP's co-organizing secretaries Khandaker Mashukur Rahman, Selimuzzaman Selim and co-legal affairs secretary Advocate Zainul Abedin Mejba.

The main speaker was BNP's Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid and special speaker was Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Jilani. Among others, speakers included former district BNP president M.H.
