BNP press confce protesting lies of former MP Shaon

Kalma Union BNP of the upazila has held a press conference to protest former MP Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon's lies on social media, calling a road accident in Lalmohan, Bhola a BNP attack.
Kalma Union BNP General Secretary Md. Motahar Hossain raised such allegations at a press conference at the upazila BNP office on Wednesday morning.
He said that on the night of January 16, Mahabub Alam, an assistant teacher of Purba Charlaxmi Government Primary School, was seriously injured in a road accident and is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Popular Hospital in Dhaka. A record of a conversation between the fugitive Hasina and another fugitive Shaon, claiming that the accident was a BNP attack, went viral on social media. We reject Shaon's statement with hatred.
He also said that Md. Sumon, brother-in-law of teacher Mahbub Alam, who was injured in the accident, has also posted the viral audio clip on his Facebook, calling it Shaon's lie.
Lalmohan Upazila BNP Joint Secretary Md. Farid Uddin, Md Sohel Aziz Shahin, Md. Shafiullah Howlader, Municipality BNP President Sadek Mia Jhantu and other leaders and activists of BNP and allied organizations were present at the press conference.
