58 helpless families affected by floods got houses of Nashir Uddin Foundation in Laksam, Cumilla . On Wednesday in Laksam municipality and upazila, goods including house tins were distributed among the needy families after the flood.

Laxam Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kaushar Hamid said in the chief guest's speech, "I like to be with all the good works. I am personally overwhelmed by today's event. Many helpless people in Laksam who lost their houses due to floods are still living in shelters in different places. Along with the government, he invited all the rich people to come forward for such good work.

Chairman of Nashir Uddin Foundation, Alhaj Nashir Uddin Majumdar, presided over the distribution ceremony. He said that I personally have been trying to be involved with good works in different parts of the country including Laksam-Manoharganj for a long time. After the flood, we are trying to stand by the helpless people through the Nashir Uddin Foundation.

There is self-satisfaction in being good to all people in society.

Samaj Sevak Golam Farooq, Vice President of Nashir Uddin Foundation and President of Hefazte Islam Laksam Upazila Maulana Mohammad Yusuf, Secretary General of the Foundation and Organizing Secretary of Laxam Upazila Hefazte Islam Hafez Maulana Mohammad Ullah, Finance Secretary Mufti Mahbubur Rahman, Samaj Sevak Vishwatam Saha and others were special guests on the occasion.

On that day, 20 families in Dokhaiya village of Laksam upazila were formally handed over goods including household tins to 58 families in Mela, Angaria, Gobindpur villages and various wards of Laksam municipality.
